GAMREN supports the deployment of eduroam - a global Wi-Fi service designed specifically for the research and education community. eduroam allows students, researchers, and staff to connect securely to the internet using one institutional login, whether they are on their own campus or visiting another participating institution—locally or anywhere in the world.
With eduroam, users no longer need to search for guest Wi-Fi or request temporary access when visiting partner universities, research centres, libraries, or conference venues. Once a device is configured, it connects automatically wherever eduroam is available. Today, eduroam is used in over 100 countries, making it one of the most widely trusted digital services in global research and education.
